www.morpethweb.com
This website is currently undergoing a complete rebuild.
Regrettably, funding is no longer available for the
maintenance of an extensive website, but the popularity of the site
means that something should be done to keep it running.
Therefore, it is intended that MorpethWeb should become
a directory of Morpeth and District links to almost any type of website
with content relevant to this area.
If you have such a website, don't hesitate to contact
us to have its address included.
PLEASE NOTE: Inclusion of your business or
organisation URL and/or information is a No-Cost option.
Advertising Banner/Links cost £25pa
If you don't have a website, we can include your contact details anyway.
MorpethWeb is NOT a franchised operation.
It is entirely locally based and does not plough money back into some
remote, uncaring company.
The website's operator, MorpethNet, will be pleased
to provide an internet site for any local non-profit organisation at
no cost beyond that of its hosting/domain name fees.

Dave Pope

I was born in Scotland in 1946 and moved to Northumberland at the age of
three.
In 1996 I gave up a local teaching career to venture into the world of
internet websites, working for short while for a web design company south of
the Tyne.
In 1998 I set up my own locally based web company called
MorpethNet.
I am active in the local
Chamber of Trade and in the
Parish of
Morpeth, both of which allow me to take a part in the local
community.
My involvement in Morpeth's affairs has made me many friends, and, I
suppose, a few enemies, but I still think it a grand place to live and work,
in spite of the 3 feet of water our home suffered in Sept '08
